About Dr. G Kasireddy
Dr. G. Kasi Reddy is a seasoned pediatrician with over five decades of medical experience. He holds an MBBS from Karnataka University (1970) and a DCH (Child Health) from Mysore University (1991). He began his career as an Assistant Surgeon at the Govt. Wellesley TB Sanatorium, Bellary, before pursuing postgraduate studies in General Medicine at Mysore. He served as a Registrar in Medicine at J.N. Medical College, Belgaum, and notably worked as a Medical Officer at Urban Health Centres in Lusaka, Zambia, on deputation by the Government of India (1978–1986). After specializing in Child Health, Dr. Reddy served as a Pediatrician across several PHCs in Mandya and Tumkur districts. He rose through administrative ranks to become Deputy Director (MCH) and subsequently Additional Director/Project Director, RCH, Directorate of Health Services, Bangalore, retiring from government service in June 2004. Post-retirement, he has continued active clinical practice as a Consultant Pediatrician at The Bangalore Hospital, Jayanagar, Raja Rajeshwari Medical College, BBMP Maternity Hospitals, and briefly at AIMS Hospital, Maldives. He currently conducts evening pediatric clinics, Ayushmathi Clinics, and provides emergency pediatric cover for LSCS and deliveries.
